ElfQuest: A Fan Imagining

So, somehow, Paul Rhodes and Stephanie Thorpe (both featured in the trailer above) have acquired the actual movie rights to ElfQuest. This is simultaneously the worst thing and best thing ever. I’m having a difficult time wrapping my head around it. I’m pretty sure, the end product will be similar to something along the lines of Xena, Hercules, or maybe even Legend of the Seeker… but the above video has the simblances of soft core pornography. It’s weird because I’ve been reading a bit about it and the two creators definitely seem to be authentic fans of the comic series (from the 80s) and even Wendy Pini, one of the series creators, has expressed satisfaction with the trailer.

Either way, this has my full support.
